Winner for Coventry care JV

A team has been chosen as the preferred bidder for Coventry City Council’s £150m care services joint venture scheme.

Project Integrated Care Collective, comprising care specialists Hervines Group and Montpelier Estates, have been chosen to develop the innovative scheme, which will see the partners working collaboratively with the council to develop solutions for care services in the city.

An initial project, to be built on a five-acre site at Browns Lane, will act as the starting point, with the partners and council working together to determine demand for care services and then develop appropriate solutions for the city.

The initial project will be for a care home catering for older people with a range of needs including a requirement for nursing care and specialist care for older people living with dementia, as well as those requiring care and support for reasons of physical disabilities/frailty.
