The University of Idaho has released a request for qualifications (RFQ) on its mixed-use housing P3 project.
A private partner will become the master developer on the university’s three-site program featuring multiple housing projects, parking and commercial blocks.
The full details of the projects will be defined in a later request for proposals (RFP) but is set to include over 325 units of academic housing, 50 units of for-sale housing, thousands of units of student housing renovations and more.
According to an indicative timeline, an RFP is expected to be released by the end of the year with a winner to be announced in early 2023.
Rieth Jones Advisors, PFM Advisors, Wells Fargo and Hawley Troxel are advising the university on the project.
The project comes following the successful procurement of the university’s $225m energy P3 project last year.
Responses are due November 14, 2022. Questions must be submitted by October 21. The full tender can be found by clicking here.
