The City of Fort Worth, Texas, is looking for consultants to help on its Panther Island waterfront P3 project.
Under the plans, private partners will redevelop the island’s large underutilized and historically flood-prone industrial area into a “new and vibrant walkable mixed-use sector of the city”.
Currently, 230 acres of the 440-acre region are considered developable, with the remainder set to be available once the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has completed a flood protection project.
The advisors will help develop a strategic vision for the project and assess the use of P3s as a way to help finance the project.
Responses are due November 11, 2022. The full tender can be found by clicking here.
