Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has re-released a request for proposals (RFP) on its cargo modernization P3 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Under the plans, private partners will utilize a P3 to deliver major upgrades to the airport's cargo facilities, including introducing innovative technologies to bolster efficiency and capability.
The changes to the original tender include a revised time-schedule allowing for more time to prepare proposals after market feedback and also the removal of a $15m ceiling on pre-development agreement fees.
Responses are now due October 31, 2022. The tender can be found by clicking here.
Last month, the City of Los Angeles opened a search for consultants to work with LAWA on preparing the project. The tender, which is open until October 26, can be found by clicking here.
