Nueces County, Texas, has released a request for qualifications on its Corpus Christi courthouse retrofit P3.
Under a P3 contract, private partners will rehabilitate, repurpose and operate the city’s historic 1914 courthouse, creating a mixed-use facility.
Although not yet set, the city is eyeing the development to be the centerpiece of a major push to revitalize the downtown area.
In 2020, a deal fell through that would have seen the courthouse converted into a new luxury hotel.
Responses are due January 20, 2023. A pre-bid conference will take place on November 20, 2022. The full tender can be found by clicking here.
