The authorities shortlisted teams led by EllisDon, PCL and Pomerleau in August this year, and have now sent them the RFPs to design, build and finance the new center.
Under the plans, the winning team will provide a variety of pediatric health and research services under a single multi-story building.
A preferred bidder is expected to be announced in Fall 2023 and IO said a fairness monitor will oversee the procurement process.
