Velindre University NHS Trust has released a tender looking for an independent tester on its cancer centre mutual investment model (MIM) project.
The independent tester will help advise on the “nature, scale and complexity” of the project, working specifically on its design and construction.
A pioneering project, Velindre is the first in the country to use the MIM approach for a hospital scheme. A team led by Kajima and Sacyr was selected as the winner this summer.
