Utah city plans affordable housing P3

The City of Moab, Utah, has launched a request for qualifications (RFQ) for a private partner to deliver an affordable housing project.

According to the RFQ, a private partner will design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Walnut Lane affordable housing project under a 50-year ground lease with the city, which will maintain unsubordinated ownership of the fee interest in the site during the life of the scheme.

The project will see the development of 80 units of multifamily housing, with a three-phase approach to avoid displacement of existing residents. Civil and landscaping design for phase one has been completed by the city.

Interested parties have until January 5, 2023 to respond. To read the RFQ, click here and search for Walnut Lane.
