The State of Illinois is looking for consultants to help assess a potential P3 for the One Central Chicago development.
Under the wide reaching plans, private partners will be sought to deliver a major new multi-modal transit hub in Chicago, connecting Metra, CTA, Amtrak and the new CHI-Line central area circulator system. The project could also potentially feature a transit-oriented development.
According to the tender, the P3 project is currently being considered by the state, and is now seeking consultants to conduct a feasibility study and cost-benefit analysis.
“This unique P3 can achieve transformative change for the South Side communities, businesses and residents,” said SouthSideWORKS, one of the bodies in charge of the future development.
