The city has already developed a Climate Action Plan and is now seeking to build on that with a comprehensive strategy for the development and delivery of EV charging facilities across the city.
The EV charging masterplan will provide “a comprehensive, systematic approach to building a public accessible EV infrastructure network to safely facilitate the movement of electric vehicles within the city and surrounding areas”.
As part of the plan, work will be undertaken to identify opportunities for P3s, looking at a range of areas including the existing transportation network and public and private land uses.
Interested advisors have until 17 January 2023 to respond to the tender, which can be found here. The advisory contract is expected to run until February 2025.
