Peru's private investment agency ProInversion has awarded dual major transmission concessions.
Acciona was awarded the bundle, posting a $73m bid – a 45% saving, according to ProInversion.
The two projects consist of the extension of the Cáclic – Jaén Norte and Ica – Poroma lines and their relative substations, with the concessions lasting 30 years.
"The successful bidding for electrical projects is a sign of the confidence of investors in the PPP projects developed by ProInversion," said Jose Salardi, the agency's executive director.
