DIF Capital Partners has acquired Pinnacle Power, a UK-based district heating specialist.
The firm develops and owns city-scale heat networks, having delivered over 100 projects since its founding in 2012, notably including the 87MW Greenwich Peninsula network.
DIF will own the majority in the company, with the management team retaining a minority stake.
DIF said that the sector is expected to go through a period of sustained high growth, with substantial capital investment required.
Meanwhile, John Laing has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Valley Healthcare from , a Irish healthcare specialist, from InfraBridge (formerly known as AMP Capital) and the Irish Infrastructure Fund.
