Winstead hires P3 lawyer

Law firm Winstead has appointed a new Of Counsel within its P3, infrastructure & projects team.

The Teaxas firm has brought in Mary Hager, who joins from McGinnis Lochridge, where she was a partner for two years, having been Of Counsel for nearly two years before that.

Prior to her time at McGinnis Lochridge, Hager served as chief operating officer and general counsel at Calendar Holdings and then Waller Creek Conservancy.

“Mary is an outstanding lawyer having worked both in private practice and as a COO and General Counsel,” said Stewart Whitehead, chair of the firm’s higher education industry group.

“Her background in working on public-private partnerships, and real estate transactions involving acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing adds to the experience and expertise which we are able to offer our clients.”
