Industry veteran Adam Hesketh has been appointed chief executive of the SH 130 Concession Co.
He takes up the role after being appointed chief financial officer in May last year.
Hesketh was previously managing director in KPMG’s infrastructure advisory practice, having also served in numerous senior leadership positions at Transurban.
The concessionaire, which controls a 41 mile stretch of tolled highway between Austin and San Antonio, emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2017 with new majority owners, Strategic Value Partners, taking over the company.
Hesketh said he looks “forward to working with our team to explore ways that we can make long-term strategic investments and work with the Texas Department of Transportation and local communities to support growth in this critical transportation corridor.”
