Peru’s private investment agency ProInversion has signed an agreement with San Ignacio de Loyola University (USIL) to further bolster its P3 enabling environment.

Under the arrangement, the university will help increase project identification, development and promoting capacity, as well as boosting innovation.

ProInversion will look to utilize USIL’s technical assistance to design, formulate and execute plans for different regions across the country as it looks to bolster a decentralized approach to infrastructure development - with P3s set to play a key role.

“The agreement will allow us to prepare a regional infrastructure plan that allows it to support the growth of the regions through the development of investment projects through P3s, Projects in Assets and Works for Taxes,” said ProInversion executive director José Salardi.
