Peru’s private investment agency ProInversion is preparing to tender another healthcare concession.
Under the plans, private partners will take over the grey robe services at the Villa El Salvador hospital for 10 years, and upgrade the hospital equipment and infrastructure. The project is expected to require investment of over $110m.
Peru’s flagship healthcare concession, the Chimbote and Piura hospitals project, could be awarded this week, after receiving only one bid despite initially pulling international attention from the likes of Acciona and OHLA.
According to the timeline, the El Salvador project is set to go to auction in Q3 this year.
