The Government of Guarulhos has awarded the Hospital Infantojuvenil de Guarulhos (HIG) P3 project to the sole bidder.

At a B3 auction this week, Saúde Guarulhos consortium submitted the only offer, which valued the construction of the project at $39m and its long-term operation and maintenance at $413m - an offer representing an estimated 0.03% discount on projections.

The consortium is made up of Conata Engenharia, Infracon Engenharia e Comércio and RCS Soluções Médicas.

Under the 20-year concession, the chosen private partner will construct, operate and maintain a new greenfield hospital with 136 beds, which will be focussed on young people’s medicine.

“Today, we have taken an important step towards making our Hospital Infantojuvenil de Guarulhos a reality and significantly expanding medical care for our children and adolescents, with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of the people of Guarulhos,” said Edmilson Americano, Secretary of Government of Guarulhos .
