Winner for Saudi water transmission PPP

A preferred bidder has been chosen to deliver the Rayis-Rabigh water transmission pipeline project in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Water Partnerships Company (SWPC) has chosen the team comprising Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios and Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies as the winner for the deal.

Under the plans, the private partner will establish a water transmission pipeline from Rayis to Rabigh with a transmission capacity of 500,000m3/day.

SWPC has appointed the Vision International Investment Company, TAQA, and Gulf Investment Corporation consortium as the reserve bidder on the project.

Both teams were among three to be shortlisted for the project back in March this year.
