John Laing reshuffles top team

Developer John Laing has announced international changes to its senior management, including cementing its PPP business in the US.

Anthony Phillips - John Laing

The firm has appointed Anthony Phillips as global head of PPP, leading the company’s efforts in relation to new PPP projects. He will carry out this role alongside his existing position as head of Americas and will be based in the US.

Meanwhile, David Wylie, current managing director of asset management, will become global head of asset management for John Laing’s PPP portfolio. Based in New York, Wylie’s role will focus on ensuring that existing assets perform well.

Meanwhile, Andy Haining and Duncan Jewell, both managing directors in Melbourne, will co-head John Laing’s business in APAC.

The changes follow the appointment of Andrew Truscott as chief executive of John Laing in March this year.
