Ten teams have been shortlisted to structure Colombia’s Meta River navigation P3.
The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has picked leading international firms such as Egis, KPMG and RJ&P on the shortlist for the consultancy services. The full list can be found here.
Under the plans, the future concession will see private partners guarantee the navigation of the river, which is one of the country’s major trade and travel waterways.
The country has had mixed success with water navigation projects so far, with the Canal del Dique project signing with Sacyr, the sole bidder, earlier this year. However, the River Magdalena P3 project failed to attract proposals.
