The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has released a request for proposals (RFP) for its electric vehicle charging deployment program.
Under the plans, private partners will install charging infrastructure at up to five identified sites to help close national infrastructure vehicle charging gaps.
The projects will be delivered through a design, build, finance, operate and maintain P3 contract. Each of the five sites will constitute a separate agreement.
Responses are due by November 17, 2023. The tender can be found by clicking here.
Meanwhile, one of the three shortlisted teams for GDOT’s SR 400 highway P3 project has dropped out of the race. The team headed by ASTM, Shikun & Binui and Itinera (Express 400 Partners) is no longer in the running.
