Contract signed for Virginia airport P3

The City of Manassas has signed a P3 to upgrade Manassas Regional Airport.
Under the plans, Goldman Sachs-owned Avports will deliver a new passenger terminal and landside infrastructure to enabe commercial jet services to start at the facility.
The 40-year deal will see the developments delivered under a design, build, finance and operate P3, with investment that could reach $125m.
Avports chief executive Jorge Roberts said he was “excited to bring convenient and affordable travel to the residents of Manassas and Prince William County in Northern Virginia.”
