The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCDC) has signed a deal to deliver the first movie studio campus P3 in Manhattan.
A consortium of Blackstone, Vornado Realty Trust and Hudson Pacific will deliver the $350m project, redeveloping Pier 94 into a 145,000 sq ft production-space center with six soundstages, offices, control rooms and amenities.
According to the city, the project “will cement New York City as one of the preeminent places for the film and television industry to film while also contributing to the needs of the local community”.
