Edmonton’s Southeastern Valley Line LRT is set to open “this fall”.
TransEd partners, which includes Bechtel, EllisDon, Alstom and Fengate, along with Arup and IBI Group, said it is “working closely with the city” to finalize testing and certification.
The new opening date means that delays caused by cracks found in support pillars have stretched over a year since they were discovered.
