Colombia’s National Infrastructure Agency is structuring 18 projects to bolster the country’s infrastructure, with concessions and PPPs set to play a key role.

According to an update, the government is “advancing the structuring” of the program, which features concessions in the airport, railway, road and waterway sectors.

The next wave of projects comes after the government has signed 8 projects since the start of last Summer, including the Canal del Dique P3 and the La Dorada-Chiriguaná and Bogotá-Belencito highway concessions.

“Through these new projects, once the times required for studies, award and pre-construction are met, we will continue to strengthen the transportation infrastructure as an engine for the country's economy, generating jobs, energizing development and bringing the territories closer together,” concluded Minister Camargo.
