Spanish giant Sacyr has completed the sale of its share in the N6 highway PPP.
The firm has sold its 45% stake in the project to Bestinver Infra for around €45m.
The 56km dual carriageway N6 between Dublin and Galway opened in 2009, delivered by a consortium of FCC and Sacyr.
Sacyr has been ramping up its P3/PPP offering, making what it calls a “massive qualitative leap” into the US market when it was selected as part of the winning consortium on the I-10 Calcasieu Bridge P3. The firm has also sold a number of its business units to bolster its finances as part of the P3 push.
