The Kuwait Ministry of Communication is preparing to launch a major fibre roll-out through a PPP project.
Under the plans, private partners will deliver the final stage of a national fibre network, joining forces with the government under a specialised company joint venture.
The project will look to “increase the pace” of fibre roll out, delivering a “qualitative shift” in connectivity across the Gulf state.
According to a statement, the ministry is co-ordinating with the Public-Private Partnership Projects Authority to prepare the procurement.
