Australia & Indonesia launch PPP preparation facility

Kemitraan Indonesia Australia untuk Infrastruktur (KIAT) is seeking private sector partners to undertake a PPP preparation facility.

KIAT is a partnership between the governments of Australia and Indonesia, which has been implemented to support sustainable and inclusive economic growth through improved access to infrastructure in Indonesia. 

The organisation is now seeking a suitable private partner or joint venture/consortium to assist the Government of Indonesia in bringing select projects to market under the PPP model. 

A pre-tender briefing will take place on 12 October, with responses to the tender due by 30 October, 2023.

Indonesia has plans to significantly increase its use of the PPP model, particualrly in relation to its plans to develop a new capital city, Nusantara (pictured).
