Nicole Doheny has been chosen for the role, having spent the past decade working as part of the government and public sector practice at EY. Prior to that, Doheny was part of the public finance team at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, working directly with state and local governments on capital strategies and public debt issuances.

Sher has been picked to take on the role, pending city council approval, by Mike Johnston, who was sworn in as Denver’s new mayor in July this year.

“As a city and as an administration, we are committed to lead in climate action while maintaining responsible financial stewardship,” he said of Doheny’s nomination.

The City & County of Denver is the lead authority on the US Army Corps of Engineers' South Platte water P3 project.
