Aviva Investors has appointed a new head of infrastructure equity to bolster its green expertise.
Angenika Kunne will take up the role, joining from energy transition specialist White Summit Capital. Before that she held numerous leadership positions at John Laing and Macquarie.
In her new role, Kunne will help lead the firm’s UK and Europe infrastructure equity team, including playing a key role in Aviva’s Climate Transition Real Assets Fund.
Ben Sanderson, Aviva Investors managing director of real estate and head of active equity, said that Kunne “will be critical in ensuring we capitalise on emerging themes, as the sector continues to pivot towards areas such as climate transition and digital infrastructure”.
