PennDOT reopens unsolicited P3 window

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has opened its biannual window for firms to submit unsolicited P3 plans.

During the window, which end on November 11, the private sector can submit “innovative ways” of delivering and generating higher efficiency from projects across the PennDOT sectoral portfolio.

Long a P3 heavyweight, PennDOT reached financial close on its pioneering Major Bridge P3 Program in December last year, which saw a Macquarie and Shikun & Binui team deliver nine bridges across the state.

Last month, the authority opened a search for P3 advisors to support the authority with strategic and financial matters.
