M. Elizabeth Walker and Jerimi J. Ullom have joined the firm as partners, arriving from healthcare-focused law firm Hall Render.
Walker is a leading tax-exempt bond practitioner, while Ullom is a finance lawyer with significant experience of P3 transactions, particularly those involving healthcare or nonprofit participants.
“Elizabeth and Jerimi’s experience and skills bolster our ability to assist clients across the country in highly complex tax-exempt and taxable public financings,” said Richard Hall, chair of Barnes & Thornburg’s government services and finance department.
Using P3s to support healthcare projects is an area of increasing interest in the US, with significant potential for energy services to be delivered via a P3 model so as to help tackle carbon emissions.
