The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe has released guidelines on delivering PPPs in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The guidelines lay out policy options and recommendations for governments looking to utilise PPPs, including simplification and acceleration of the model, in post-conflict and post-disaster scenarios.
According to the UN, the guide “aims to ensure that policy makers are equipped with the right insights to make better decisions that streamline PPP projects without comprising broader goal of rebuilding economies and societies in alignment with SDGs”.
