Greek water pipeline prep progresses

The Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food has appointed technical advisors to help prepare its major irrigation PPP bundle.

Samaras & Associates has been selected to help prepare the three-project bundle, valued at over €250m, beating off bids from two other advisory firms.

The projects are part of a wider €639m programme of water PPPs being procured by the ministry. 

However, earlier this year the Havria Halkidiki Dam PPP project failed to attract quality bids in a blow to the sector's burgeoning pipeline.
