Limerick City and County Council is looking for market feedback on how to deliver sustainable EV charging infrastructure across the area.
Under the plans, private partners will be sought to deliver a “comprehensive, reliable and interoperable” charging network across the city, including both on-street parking and site-oriented facilities.
The new network is set to significantly bolster the region’s current EV network in a bid to help spur EV driving uptake.
As part of the market sounding, the council is looking to assess innovative contracting structures, which may feature private funding and operation.
Responses are due 15 November 2023. The tender can be found by clicking here.
