Leicester City Council is looking for market feedback to prepare for life post-PFI for waste services.
With the area’s major waste PFI set to expire in 2028, the council is launching an industry soft market sounding that will inform the shaping of the future waste strategy, as well as its procurement, which is anticipated to start next year.
Earlier this year, South Gloucestershire Council opted for a partnership approach to replace its highly successful waste services PFI programme, despite facing a funding shortfall.
The sessions will take place on 9 & 29 November 2023. More information can be found by clicking here.
