The Chilean Directorate of Concessions has released a tender for the La Araucanía Airport P3 concession.
Under the plans, private partners will quadruple the airport’s footprint, adding to the terminal spaces, aircraft apron and parking spaces, as well as the development of supporting utilities such as wastewater facilities and parking areas.
The project is expected to require around $128m of investment,
Last week, Chile announced that three bidders have entered the race for its $500m Santiago ringroad P3.
Responses are due March 7, 2024. The tender can be found on 2 November Official Gazette.
