Following requests from international and local industry players in recent weeks, MyHSR Corp - the organisation running the programme - has decided to extend the deadline until 15 January 2024, instead of 15 November 2023, as originally planned.

MyHSR Corp said over 60% of companies that had indicated plans to submit their proposals had requested an extension, as they “required more time to form consortiums with potential partners and explore financial options, among others”.

Over 700 local and foreign participants attended the request for information briefing held by the authority in July this year, as MyHSR Corp seeks private partners to design, build, finance, operate and transfer the high speed line between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
