The Veneto Region local government has awarded the Via del Mare highway PPP.
The SIS consortium, composed of Fininc and Sacyr, won the deal, which will require an estimated €250m of investment.
Under the plans, a greenfield 19km dual carriageway will be delivered connecting the A4 and the resort town of Jesolo.
The project is Sacyr’s fourth PPP win in Italy, a region it calls a “key strategic market”.
The firm has been targeting a major expansion into the Americas P3 market, including by selling multiple units to bolster its financial strength.
