LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP) has appointed a new chief operating officer (COO) to help lead New York’s flagship P3 development.
Klaudia FitzGerald will take up the role, seconded from AvAirPros. Until recently, she was the firm’s senior director of operations, working on projects including the operation of JFK Terminal One.
In her new role, she’ll take over responsibilities including maximizing commercial revenue at the facility and delivering an “exceptional and seamless” stakeholder experience.
Last year, the $5.1bn P3, delivered by Skanska, Meridiam, JLC Infrastructure and Vantage Airport Group, was opened on time and on budget.
Jane Garvey, chair of the consortium’s board of directors commented: “We have no doubt [FitzGerald’s] expertise in airport operations will contribute to the success of our team in this exciting new chapter.”
