The Global Infrastructure Hub (GI Hub) has announced its chief executive is to step down from the position.

Marie Lam-Frendo joined the organisation five years ago, but will step down in early December 2023,m as her term comes to an end.

Current chief operations officer Srima McQuillan will become acting chief executive in Lam-Frendo’s place, supported by chief content officer Henri Blas.

During her time at the organisation, Lam-Frendo led an organisational transformation that saw the GI Hub’s work increasingly recognised at the G20 and valued across the infrastructure ecosystem.

“I am incredibly proud of the work that we delivered,” she said. “Together, we pushed the needle of private sector participation in infrastructure while honing the focus on sustainability, inclusivity and resilience.”
