Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council has selected a winner for its Mell Square joint venture project.
Muse was selected as the winner for the project, beating off competition from one other bidder.
Under the plans, Muse will deliver a “transformational change” to the Mell Square site, with a reconfiguration featuring the development of retail and residential spaces.
According to the council the project will deliver a “balance of uses to attract people into the town centre to live, work and visit, to create a new town centre destination with a strong sense of place”.
The 15-year joint venture is valued at £300m.
